1. Share your vision
Fill out the quick form with your date, location and what you’re dreaming up. We confirm availability and send recommended packages.
2. Lock in your date
Sign a simple online agreement and pay a retainer to secure your set. We share prep guides so you know exactly what to expect.
3. Shoot day + delivery
We direct, document and keep things moving so you can be present. Preview selects within 72 hours and full delivery in 2–4 weeks depending on the set.

How far in advance should I book?
For weekends and events, we recommend booking 2–4 months in advance. Portrait sets and content days often have weekday availability within 2–3 weeks. Share your ideal date and we’ll always let you know the closest options we have.
Do you travel outside the city?
Yes. We regularly travel for weddings, events and destination shoots. Travel fees are based on distance and any required accommodation. Include your location in the form and we’ll outline all travel costs up front.
How many photos will I receive?
It depends on the set. Portrait sessions typically include 30+ final edited images. Events range from 250–600+ depending on coverage. We focus on delivering a strong, usable set rather than overwhelming you with near-duplicates.
Can I get the raw files?
Our editing is a big part of the Black Set Films look, so we don’t release raw files by default. If you have a specific need for raws (for example, brand post-production), mention it in your enquiry and we can add this as an optional add-on.
What’s your payment structure?
To lock in your date, a non-refundable retainer is due upon signing, with the remaining balance typically due 7 days before the shoot. For larger events and ongoing content, we can split payments into installments.
